It is official...
We are having a BOY!!
We can't wait to meet you, Caden Christopher!
The ultrasound was amazing! We were able to see the heart and its 4 chambers, the spine, the hands and feet, and his cute little nose! We were finally able to hear the heartbeat as well...it was the coolest sound!
He was moving all around and throwing his legs up in the air! haha. Too funny. Everything is looking good and healthy with me and the baby.
They think that I am further along than I thought before...so my new due date is April 28th.
I am so excited and am now ready to start spoiling my baby boy and start setting up the nursery. :)
Yay- life is good!

Kick It!
I have been able to feel the baby's kicks more and more each day. So exciting! Garrett was able to put his hand on my belly and feel a couple kicks too! His face lit up and he looked so suprised! haha. I love being able to feel my baby moving around, poking me, and kicking me. :) It is a huge blessing to me and makes me so happy each time I feel it...:)

18 WeEkS
Well, I am 18 weeks and 1 day. I am definitely starting to feel more pregnant and enjoy it more than the first trimester! I definitely have a baby bump now and will post a picture of it soon.
I bought some maternity clothes for the first time this last week. I feel much more comfortable in them than trying to squeeze into my old clothes. :)
I have also been feeling the baby move a bit. It is the neatest feeling. I can't wait until it is more consistent and more forceful. :) I am excited for Garrett to be able to feel it too.
We have been so busy from moving, starting new jobs, and traveling to Oregon that I haven't had another doctor's appointment. I really need to get in. I am planning on making my appointment within the next few days. In about 2 weeks we will be able to find out the sex of the baby! I cannot wait!
I don't have a paticular feeling as to if it is a boy or girl...so we will see. :)
That is about it for now. Just enjoying being pregnant and loving that I actually look somewhat pregnant and not just bloated! haha.
The next post should be a big one, so get ready! :)

Our First Appointment
We had our first appointment and ultrasound on Monday and it was so amazing! It was unbelievable to see our baby's heartbeat. It was going so fast at 162 bpm. It was cool to put an image, somewhat, to what is inside of me.
I found out that my official due date is May 2nd. I will be 11 weeks on Sunday. This is such a cool time in our lives!
I am so glad that Garrett could be there with me at my appointment. He was just as thrilled as I was. :) Our next appointment is November 2nd.
I can't wait to meet our baby in May!

6 Weeks and Counting!
Two days before I hit 6 weeks the morning sickness started and was relentless. Of course, I knew about morning sickness, but no one told me how it could be and that it wasn't tied down to just the morning. I have been nauseous morning to night and have been throwing up one to two times a day. I can eat and have been eating- whatever might sound good. I haven't been cooking at all. I can't even be in the kitchen for more than a few minutes because the smells and sights of food push me over the edge.
Poor Garrett has been making food and grocery shopping for the first time in his life! haha. I am praying that this will go away when I reach the second trimester. I am ready to be active again and to feel well again!
Today I am in my 9th week and Wednesday I will be at 10 weeks. My first doctor's appointment is October 5th at 10:15 AM. I am praying that everything goes smoothly and that my little baby is healthy and strong.

Spreading the News
We planned on waiting until I was closer to the second trimester to start telling people, but with the excitement and morning sickness that I was experiencing we knew that we couldn't keep it a secret any longer! Since we live in Moscow,ID and our families live in Boise, ID; Oregon; and Colorado we had to give the news by phone. We began calling our families one by one and everyone was so excited for us. The news was taken so well and I feel so blessed to have family that support us no matter what and always are there for us.
They were so excited that it made it more real for us.
Thank you family for your love, support, and excitement!
